Couples Therapy

Teresa and Lee Anne have worked with a diversity of couples. Our approach focuses on improving connection and intimacy (as defined by the couple). We know that simply working on “communication” does not resolve underlying needs for connection and acceptance, so we incorporate the work of John Gottman and Susan Johnson in our work with couples. Teresa has completed Level 1 training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy, and uses Gottman Method Couples Therapy in her work. Teresa and Lee Anne have both received training in Emotionally Focused Therapy.
